Rockmybaby® Newborn Care
Bespoke Newborn care solutions for you and your family
Rockmybaby has various solutions for new parents to support you when you bring your little one/s home. Whether you are looking for night care, 24 hour care or some support in the day – we have solutions for you!
Rockmybaby can provide night nannies who will see to your baby’s needs throughout the night, and help you provide a grounding and guidance for your baby to sleep through the night, letting you get a good night’s rest! Night Nannies can work anywhere from 1-6 nights a week for a specific agreed period.
If you are looking for support with your newborn, but don’t wish to have someone living in your home, a daily newborn care specialist can be an ideal solution. This person usually works 6-10 hours per day with some flexibility. Day Nannies give parents an extra set of hands with babies during the day allowing you to have a break, rest or run errands or spend time with your other children. Day nannies will take care of all the child related duties and household tasks relating to the children.
Our trained Newborn Care Specialists (also known as Maternity Practitioners / Maternity Nurses in the UK) are here to help with your new baby/ies, support mom post-partum and help mom and baby settle into a routine, provide night time care, assist with breastfeeding/bottle feeding, bathing and many other aspects of new born care. Having the knowledge and experience together with hands on support, the Newborn Care Specialist will help create confidence with new parents in caring for their newest addition/s.
A New Born Care Specialist can provide 24 hour care or care for a few hours in the day. Working schedule as a 24 hour Newborn Care Specialist varies between 24/5 or 24/6 days a week where they provide full support both day and night. During 24h shifts, the newborn care specialist requires a minimum 4-6h break to help them rest and fulfil their duties effectively. This person offers their services on a self-employed basis.
A newborn Care Specialist is an experienced newborn childcarer with relevant newborn training , but no medical training. If a medical concern arises, the newborn carer will advice you to see a midwife or a paediatrician.
Temporary Nanny / Housekeeper - Live-in or Live-out
Due to Covid-19 and many grandparents not being able to travel to support mom and dad with the new arrivals due to travel restrictions - we have candidates who have baby experience and are also happy to help with housekeeping duties i.e., cooking, laundry, tidy up, running errands, shopping etc. (these candidates are not specialized in newborn care however they are able to provide all-round household support together with childcare duties).
Sleep Consultations
Are you longing for a good night’s sleep? Is your baby or toddler or school age child struggling to get into a good sleep routine?
With the help of our trained sleep consultants, together you will come up with a plan that fits your family best, to help your baby or toddler or older child sleep well and in turn you too.
Our Sleep Consultants can provide remote or in person support, whichever suits you better.
Booking your Newborn Care Solution
We strongly suggest you book in advance for your newborn care requirements - as our Newborn Care Specialists are often booked in advance. To avoid disappointment, we suggest when mom is approx. 5/6 months pregnant to start looking and interviewing possible candidates, followed by securing your Newborn Care Solution.
