A. To be eligible to be put forward for any nanny jobs or to be approved and activated on our website to accept babysitting bookings, you are required to hold these requirements.
Q. Can I register in more than one area?
A. No – once you register in a specific area, you will receive notifications of nanny jobs/babysitting bookings in that area. If you move towns, you can edit your contact details and change over to another area and receive notifications in that area. Please also email through to the area office that you are moving to, introduce yourself and request your registration details to be transferred.
Q. What do I do after I accept a babysitting booking?
A. After accepting a babysitting booking online, we require you to contact the client within 24 hours to introduce yourself to them directly. If a client wants to meet with you beforehand, depending on how far in advance a booking is placed, this is possible. If you do meet, for security reasons, please ensure you arrange to meet in a public place. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable when you arrive at a babysitting booking – please ensure you follow our guidelines for your own safety here at our Terms & Conditions page.
Q. What age do I have to be to be able to join your agency?
A. Rockmybaby® believes that 21 years is a suitable age for nannies/sitters to represent our company. We do however, accept nannies from 18 years if you have the criteria we are looking for.
Q. Are my personal details kept confidential?
A. Yes they are. All information about you is kept in our secured part of our site. This information is kept only for reference to the sitting job.
Q. Why do I have to fill in a profile page?
A. Your profile will be sent to the parents once you have accepted the babysitting job. This is just to let the parent know a little bit about yourself, please make sure this is user friendly, talks about your experience with children. For your own security, please do not put any personal information such as mobile phone number or email address.
Q. Why do I have to fill in the registration contact form that is emailed through to us?
A. Once you register you will be emailed a contact registration form. This has your references – which will need to include at least two child-related referees. Medical questions and general information we require to have on file. Please email this to your regional office as soon as possible and they will then bring you in for an interview.
Q. Am I able to charge a higher hourly rate?
A. Not for babysitting bookings, the rates on the website pricing page are the rates you are to be paid and under no circumstances are you to ask for more money. The nanny rates are negotiable between you and the family.
Q. What are the fuel charges for?
A. If you are required to use your own personal car during your babysitting placement, then you can charge a fuel cost.
Q. How is payment made?
A. Payment is made to you in cash at the end of the evening/day - in some cases the client may be invoiced for the full amount and the outsourced payroll provider Propers Personnel will make payment directly to you.
Q. What is the job summary form for?
A. This is for your own personal use – please take along with you to the babysitting booking. Arrive 5-10 minutes before you are required, so you have time to fill in with the client/s before they leave.
Q. What should I do if a family asks if I am available to babysit for them again?
A. Under no circumstances are you to accept private bookings – if a client requests you again, that is not a problem. Inform the client to email through to the regional office and request you - we can assign the booking directly to you. If you have been contacted by a client to babysit again, please also contact your regional office to inform them as well. If we find that you have been taking private bookings with clients, we will suspend your account with RMB and you will no longer be part of our group.

Click apply, this will open your email account up, if you use Hotmail or Yahoo, you will need to manually email along with the correct JOBID number, ensuring you have the correct office email. Attach your CV each time you apply for a nanny job, make sure your CV does not have any personal contact information (take out mobile and home phone numbers, street number, date/month of your birth date). This is for security reasons – as we forward your CV on to clients.
Q. Should I get personal liability insurance?
A. Yes – we strongly recommend that all nannies take personal liability insurance, please contact your insurance provider to ensure you are covered for childcare work.

A. RMB does not employ you – your families will employ you directly and are responsible for all your social contributions, pensions insurances and tax obligations.
